Big Mac Sliders Recipe. This recipe has everything you love about a Big Mac, but mini (and homemade!). It is a fun, easy and delicious way to feed a crowd for game day. I personally love my chopped pickle burger sauce & a sprinkle of raw white onion for that beloved McDonald’s taste. But use any of your favorite toppings to make these burger sliders your own!
To know me is to know that cheeseburgers are possibly my favorite food. Meaty & cheesy with bread and PICKLES? I love the crunch of the lettuce, the ground beef patty, the sauces. This pull and peel version is a crowdpleaser you must make.

Same, same, but different: Have you tried these?

Big Mac Sliders Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 12ct package slider rolls (like KIng's Hawaiian)
- 1 medium white onion 1/2 cup chopped & 1/2 cup minced
- 1 tbs avocado oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- kosher salt
- 1 lb ground beef
- 5-6 cheese slices I love Cooper Sharp or cheddar
- 2 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup favorite burger toppings: shredded iceberg, tomato or more pickles thinly sliced
Burger Sauce
- 1/3 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbs yellow mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
- 2-3 tbs pickle juice (or water)
- optional: 1/4 – 1/2 cup pickles chopped small
- cayenne pepper to taste if you want to add some heat!
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° & prep ingredients: Slice 1 12ct package slider rolls (like KIng's Hawaiian) carefully in half, separating tops from bottoms. Set tops aside and place the bottoms of the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Make sauce and prep any toppings.
- Make Burger Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together 1/3 cup mayo, 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 tbs yellow mustard, 1 1/2 tsp dijon mustard, 2-3 tbs pickle juice (or water) to thin. I love to add finely chopped pickles as well. Mix & adjust to taste!
- Cook Ground Beef: In a large skillet, preheat your pan. Add 1 tbs avocado oil When the oil is hot and shimmering, add the chopped onion and nice pinch of salt. Cook onions, stirring often, until softened. Add 1 lb ground beefto the skillet & 1 tsp garlic powder. Cook 10 minutes or until the ground beef is cooked through. Remove beef and onions from heat and set aside to assemble sliders.
- Assemble Sliders: Make sure bottoms of rolls are on baking sheet. Sprinkle minced raw white onion & then add cheese slices. Add ground beef and onion mixture evenly over the rolls. Carefully place tops of rolls on the ground beef. Lightly brush with 1 tbsp melted butter & sprinkle 2 tsp sesame seeds evenly over the top. Bake 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are toasty & golden brown. Carefully remove the toasty tops after a few minutes and any toppings & burger sauce if you haven't already done so!
- Add Sauce: Let sliders sit for 2-5 minutes until you can carefully remove the tops. Add lettuce, pickles & lots of burger bowl sauce. Place tops back on. Serve immediately (or eat them cold out of the fridge like I do).
