I started this blog eight years ago when I felt lost, but no matter what changed in my life, one thing stayed the same—I just wanted to cook in my kitchen. I became obsessed with reading family recipes, collecting cookbooks, and making my own creations. My kitchen has always been my favorite place to be, and Home Cook’s Notes is my way of sharing that love, and everything I’ve learned, with you.
Home Cook’s Notes is as an extension of my kitchen– a space for other home cooks. It is a love letter to my family recipes & traditions like 7 Fishes on Christmas Eve or my mom’s birthday cake “Special Chocolate Cake”. Whether you’re making the Flaky Pie Crust for the first time or perfecting the Hearty Italian Meat Sauce, my goal is for every recipe to feel approachable, simple and truly part of your home.
