This is a fun one!! I wanted the series to stay easy and fun so.. this time I’m not grinding up mustard seed and making my own mustard. Luckily, store bought Mustards ingredients are actually not too bad. Even the most popular brands have a limited amount of ingredients.. BUT the goal here is to look for a yellow mustard and Dijon mustard WITHOUT “Natural Flavors” as that is typically the most problematic ingredient in mustards. I almost always have every one of these ingredients on hand & making my own honey mustard takes 2 minutes & is always fun!! Cadbury Mini Egg Brownies because when I talk about seasonal produce, I AM including Cadbury mini eggs 😅. I love them what can I say? But aside from the eggs, the brownie base is truly amazing. The way these taste when they cool and set is my favorite brownie texture: chocolatey, crisp top, chew edges. The grocery store closest to me only carries ONE brand of Ricotta cheese & I needed it for a recipe! But those ingredients are crazy! Making it yourself is simple and beautiful. Homemade ricotta on sourdough with olive oil & flaky salt is a snack that makes me happy to be alive. Serve it for friends or family and it is THE party trick that impresses. Bacon Egg & Cheese on an Everything Bagel ?? But for a crowd?? Yall even my dad makes this for his golf weekends with friends!! It’s easy AND beloved which is the best combo. I like to share it for Easter & Mother’s Day brunch vibes so save this one for later & make it forever If you don’t have 30 mins, wait as long as you can! But it’s always better the next day.
