Chocolate Pecan Pie w/ Vanilla Bean Whipped Cream (& a splash bourbon). This pie didn’t make it to the blog for Thanksgiving. In fact, my recipe is currently live while I still type up the blog post. That pretty much defines my life right now: a step behind, but still trying to get everything done. When I took the vote on whether or not I should post this for Christmas, the answer was a resounding yes. This pie is made for Christmas, honestly. The Vanilla Bean whipped cream, the super chocolatey gooey center, toasted pecans and buttery crust. Bring this with you Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, or make it for a date night through the month!
Christmas Pie ?!
For Thanksgiving, I made an Apple Upside Down Cake (one of my favorite recipes of all time, honestly). So for Christmas, we are making pie. Let’s shake up the system! But when I think of Christmas Pie, fruits don’t really come to mine. Christmas to me is sharing with family, tons of butter, sweet, gooey, chocolatey. This Chocolate Pecan Pie is perfect for Christmas and the holiday season for that reason.
The Ingredients
All butter pie crust. With a super sweet center like this gooey, brown sugary, pecan pie center
